Galatians 5 starting at verse 1.
After all that Paul has written in the first four chapters of the epistle to the Galatians, Paul moves on to words of encouragement. His expectation is that the Galatians will hear an obey as he has written.
To the circumcision that have believed his gospel of Christ, the words are that they be not entangled again with with the yoke of bondage. To the uncircumcised he writes that if they are circumcised then Christ shall have availed them nothing.
We will consider the words, "ye are fallen from grace" (Galatians 5:4). If one falls from grace, to where does one fall?
Galatians 5:9 reads, 'A little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. ...is that a good or bad thing?
Galatians 5:19-21 present a list of behaviours that will disqualify one from inheriting the kingdom of God.
Towards the end of chapter 5 Paul writes that those that are Christ's have 'crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts' thereof...wow, how does one accomplish that?
