Our introduction to Paul's epistle to the Ephesians is completed and posted we now move into chapter 1.
There are so many items to mention as to what will be covered we jump ahead to verse 5 and the adoption of children. Maybe some wonder if we will learn of the basis for present day teaching of 'Sonship Edification'?
Who has been made 'accepted in the beloved'?
And here we are not even halfway through the first chapter and we come across the world 'dispensation' in verse 10. Paul writes of 'the dispensation of the fulness of timeS' (our emphasis). Is there another dispensation to follow 'the dispensation of grace'? What is 'the dispensation of the fulness of timeS'? The text reads that God has already made known the mystery of His will that something more is to happen in yet another dispensation.
