the believer is sealed with that holy Spirit of promise
March 8, 2026 - 10:45 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, Sunday Bible study over Zoom:
We have covered our introduction and Colossians 1:1 through 1:11; our next study continues at 1:12.
What more can we know concerning where Paul writes of 'thrones', 'dominions', 'principalities', and 'powers' ?
Paul's gospel of Christ, the mystery, results in the the believers being being 'reconciled' Christ. Paul then elaborates on the astonishing scope of that which is 'reconciled' concluding with a caution at 1:23. Despite the fact that Paul has just written that all believers in his gospel are 'reconciled in the body of his flesh through death' there is a very large present day audience that remain baffled in understanding KJB Colossians 1:24. The misapprehension of the many, commencing with scholarship, is readily observed by considering the wording of Colossians 1:24 in any 'version' of the Bible.
Is Colossians 1:24 really that hard to understand? We'll go through it together and then you can decide.
